For us, the idea of Arlington Milne started over ten years ago….The pair behind the brand met in London, what seems a life time ago….dancing on a bar [of all places]. Working together in a pub in London was recent design graduate Rebecca Elms and recent university graduate Louise King.
Instant friends – we knew we had been brought together for a reason.
It wasn’t until Rebecca was firmly back in Australia that the ball started rolling. Over a few glasses of wine & a conversation about not being able to find what we were looking for when searching for a handbag. The very next day Arlington Milne was born! Setting out to design the “perfect handbag”. Combining stylish & classic pieces without the high end price tag!
In August 2010 – Arlington Milne launched its debut Spring/Summer Collection including leather handbags, PVC coated cotton travel accessories & 100% cotton handkerchiefs – to rave reviews & orders from many of Australia’s premium gift, home ware & fashions stores. The range was simple, stylish & as it turns out – what people had been looking for! The leather was beautiful & hand-picked by us. The prints for the travel range & lining were also designed by us, making the range extremely personal & original.
Now, three seasons down – we are excited to be launching our second winter collection “the winter seeker” in February 2012. The new range has some exciting additions including more trans-seasonal clothing, made from silk & beautiful Australia merino wool & new on-trend fashion accessories.
Our products are all made using the highest quality fabrics, leathers & materials, sourced from all over the world. At Arlington Milne we are committed to & passionate about great quality, value & simply beautiful & original products.
