HOW TO ORDER?
Welcome to the Arlington Milne online store! To purchase a product on our site, simply click on the shop tab at the top of the home page, then on the chosen category & then on the item you wish to purchase & click ‘add to cart’. You can then go back to look at further products by clicking “continue shopping” which will take you back to the home page & add additional items to your cart. If you now have everything in your cart you wish to purchase, please click ‘Check Out’. Please note you will need your credit card details & your shipping address to finalise your online shopping.
CAN I CHANGE/CANCEL MY ORDER?
Yes you can change your order whilst you are still browsing and shopping, simply remove it from the cart & start over. Once your order has been confirmed, it’s not possible for you to change it online. However you may call the office on 02 9519 0025 & change prior to dispatch.
We accept payment via VISA, Mastercard & American Express credit cards.
Your card will be debited at the time of despatch.
HOW SECURE IS MY CREDIT CARD AND PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Your security while shopping online with Arlington Milne is extremely important to us, and we have taken all reasonable measures to ensure that your credit card and personal details are kept safe at all times. All pages that require you to enter your personal information or payment details on our site are secure. To ensure that the page you are viewing is secure, look for a padlock icon in your browser, this verifies the authenticity and validity of our website security.
REDEEMING DISCOUNT & PROMOTION CODES
When your sale is complete & you have entered your shipping & billing information, click on “Next”. This will take you to the payment page of the site – under the price of the item it will have a discount option, this is where you fill in the code & then click on “Apply Discount”. The site will then automatically reduce the cost of your purchase.
COMMUNICATION AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation. This will include your order number, so please keep this for your records. Once payment is confirmed, your order will be shipped. Once this is completed, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number, so you are able to track your purchase.

HOW MUCH WILL POSTAGE AND PACKAGING COST?
Shipping is based on a flat rate $12.00
If you are an international customer – please email email@example.com & we will process the order for you directly, however we will need to charge for postage. For this we use Australia Post – International Courier, which general takes around 3-10 working days depending on the destination.
Please note that all orders are processed on working days, Monday – Friday.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS DUTIES AND TAXES
Please note that customs policies vary from country to country. You may be subject to relevant overseas custom duties and/or tax charges. These are payable by the recipient. Please check with your local customs office for further information.
WHICH COURIER COMPANY DO YOU USE?
For delivery within Australia, we either use Australia Post traceable post bags or Hunter Express, which is an express courier service. Both are traceable & offer express services.
IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER WHO DO I CONTACT?

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
For eastern seaboard deliveries, it should be 2-4 working days, for other states 3-10 working days from when you order is confirmed.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
If you are wishing to return a product/s for exchange or refund please contact us on +612 9519 0025 or email@example.com. Please allow 1-2 working days for us to respond.
UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT OFFER EXCHANGE, REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON SALE ITEMS.
Any item purchased on-line for refund or exchange must be unused, undamaged & have the original tags still attached. All returns & exchanges must be made within 7 days of order date and be returned to Arlington Milne within 14 days of order date.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange request if it does not apply with this policy.

Once the item has been received & checked, a refund will be credited against your original method of purchase, excluding delivery charges. For your protection, we recommend returning the goods via a traceable method, so you can trace the package back to us.

At Arlington Milne we strive to offer our customers quality products constructed from only the finest materials. Our leathers are hand chosen for their quality and unique appearance. Leather is designed to age! Like any skin, appearance will change over time. Small imperfections and variances are a natural occurence in leather, treat this as a unique feature and not a fault. Product returns will not accepted on the basis. Leather needs your love!
Leather is the combination of raw hides from animals & the process of tanning. Tanning agents are used to convert the raw skin or hide into a stable non-perishable material. Most tanneries apply complex coatings onto the leathers to increase their stain and wear resistance. The concept of good leather care is to maintain these coatings for as long as possible. When allowed to build up, grime, dust, body oils and food stains can breakdown the coatings which may change the condition and appearance of your leather item.
CHARACTERISTICS OF LEATHER
Leather is a natural material and therefore inconsistency of colour and texture is a unique characteristic. Leather is designed to age with wear, and may fade and soften over time. Arlington Milne is renowned for using leather with a particularly soft hand feel. It is important to note that in order to achieve this suppleness, the leather is more prone to softening and stretching over time and extra care should be taken with these types of bags. Light color leather is prone to absorbing other dye stuffs it comes into contact with, so please take care when wearing items like denim with a light colored bag or shoes.
To keep your leather products looking their best, please follow the steps below.
All leather should be protected before wearing. A good protector should also be applied regularly to help resist the effects of daily soiling. Using a protector will help to prevent light color leathers absorbing unstable dye stuffs such as denim, but this is not guaranteed. Always take extra care when wearing light colored bags with dark denim. Leather is best kept out of direct sunlight.
Most leather can be cleaned but it is important to find the correct cleaner for your leather item. Your local shoe repairer will be able to recommend the most suitable product. Always test it first and remember to protect your item again after cleaning.
Polishing is a great way to remove fingerprints and dust from your leather items, particularly high shine leathers such as patent. We recommend using your Arlington Milne cover bag to polish your item.
We recommend storing your leather items in the Arlington Milne cover bag when not in use. Never store any leather items in plastic as they cannot breathe and always store them in a cool, dry place away from heat.
If a leather product is handled without respect, it will react accordingly. Arlington Milne is neither responsible nor liable for product that is handled in this manner.

The fittings & leather used are manufactured to a specific weight & will not stand heavy objects or overfilling.
Always store your products in the dust cover provided, when not in use.
