Arlington Milne launched in 2010 after founders Louise King and Rebecca Elms were in search of an affordable leather bag that was design focused, classic and timeless. Tired of all the buckles and heavily branded products on the market, the Australian design duo set out to design the perfect handbag.
Arlington Milne’s first range was hotly received and Louise & Rebecca have never looked back. Having launched thirteen ranges since 2010 across the seasons - Arlington Milne has grown from strength to strength, with the range expanding to include wallets and ladies accessories.
Elms+King, the brand’s secondary line, launched in 2012 to meet the needs of a broader customer base at a more affordable price-point. Maintaining their high standards of design, the pair experimented with alternative materials and ahead-of-trend colour and pattern to offer a new range of beautiful handbags and wallets.
With both brands firmly established in the market Louise & Rebecca looked for their next challenge: a design-orientated store that would bring a Melbourne feel to Sydney. Looking for an opportunity to showcase only Australian designers The Hunted’s first store opened in 2013. Since then, The Hunted, was invited to pop up in Chifley Plaza (CBD) and The Hunted has since opened another store.
Deciding to expand the brand into the global market, Arlington Milne and Elms+King launched into the USA market in 2015. Catapulting the brand onto the international stage with great success when OPRAH chose the Arlington MILNE large wallet for her ‘FAVOURITE THINGS 2015’ list.
Arlington Milne and Elms+King’s success stems from an unwavering design philosophy that pairs daring colours and textures with sophisticated design. They are passionate about fashion and hard work. Every swatch and sample is scrutinized with their customer in mind, refining design materials until they have a product they are proud to put their name to. It is this attention to detail that sets them apart.
Arlington Milne and Elms+King offer a wide range of ladies accessories such as, handbags, wallets, coin purses, scarves and keyrings. Currently available in over 400 premium boutiques nationally, internationally and via Amazon in the USA as part of Oprah’s Favourite Things.
